Font Downloading and Installation
Information
To download a font, click on the preview
graphic. If you're using any download utilities you may have
to turn
them off. You may get an error message if you're not
downloading directly from your browser. Make sure to remember
the drive and directory you're downloading to, or you'll have
difficulty locating and installing your fonts.
Some of our fonts are stored in the Zip
format and before they may be installed, the file must be
unzipped. A good Windows utilities for this task is WinZip.
After the font is unzipped, follow the installation
instructions provided below.
Not all fonts are compatible with
Windows XP, so if you have difficulties with installing one of
our fonts and your OS is XP, be aware that there's
little we can do about that.
To Install Fonts on Your Computer
- Click Start, point to Settings,
click Control Panel, and double-click Fonts.
- In the File menu, select Install
New Font.
- Select the drive, then the folder
that contains the unzipped font files.
- Select the fonts you want to install
and click OK.
After installing the fonts, you should be
able to access them in your Windows applications. If you don't
see them, restart your computer.
To View Fonts on Your Computer
- Click Start, point to Settings,
click Control Panel, and then double-click Fonts.
- To view a sample of a font, double-click
the icon for the font.
